Article V
MEMBERSHIP — DUES — VOTING
Dues are payable annually in advance, January 1 of each year. The Board of Directors may provide for payments in semiannual, quarterly, or monthly installments, at its discretion. The Board of Directors may prorate annual dues for new members for the current year.
These levels of membership and dues are established as follows:
1. ASSOCIATE MEMBER
a. Associate Members shall be those persons, firms, corporations, governmental entitles or subdivisions or unincorporated associations which are not engaged in trade or business in the trade territory of Cabool.
b. Associate membership dues are set at a fee of $30 annually.
c. Associate Members are entitled to one vote each.
2. ACTIVE MEMBER
a. Active Members shall be those persons, firms, or corporations engaged in trade or business in the trade territory of Cabool who have paid the fee for active membership in the Chamber.
b. Active membership dues are set at a fee of $150 annually or $12.50 monthly.
c. Active Members are entitled to one vote each.
3. CABOOL DEVELOPMENT BOOSTERS
a. Cabool Development Boosters are those members with the conviction and capacity to make a larger contribution in furtherance of the economic development goals of the Chamber.
b. Active membership dues are set at a fee of $150 annually or $12.50 monthly.
c. Active members are entitled to one vote each.
The amount of dues may be changed by approval of the Board and a two-thirds majority of the general membership at a regular or special meeting.
An applicant for membership shall be approved for membership in the Chamber upon payment of dues.
