Cabool Senior Citizen Center
The Cabool Senior Citizen Center provides the older members of our community with the opportunity to participate creatively in the present and plan, with interest and anticipation, for the future. The center was first established in 1972 and in the spring of 2002 they moved into their new 5,000 square foot facility at 910 Cherry Street.
Services available through the center include noon meals served at the senior center, hot noon meals delivered to homebound customers, homemaker chore services (light housekeeping), tax counseling for the elderly, legal aid, information & assistance, nutrition education, free monthly blood pressure screening, free quarterly blood sugar screening and volunteer opportunities.
Activities include computer classes, quilting, pool tables, shuffleboard, puzzles, ceramic classes and special events and celebrations. You can reach the center by phone at (417) 962-3860 or by fax at (417) 962-5985.
